Mike Miller is the Mossy Oak Waterfowl Regional Pro Staff Manager for the Central Flyway. He lives in Canon City, Colorado with his wife Janell and sons, Brady and Keaton.

Mike was born and raised in Pennsylvania where he began duck hunting at the early age of eight. After high school his service in the U.S. army allowed Mike to hunt waterfowl in different parts of the country. In the army Mike was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado and he knew he would come back to this waterfowl rich area to live.

Mike’s hunting experience has taken him on regular waterfowl hunting trips in Colorado, Maryland, Kansas, Pennsylvania, and Canada. In 2005 Mike began entering duck and goose calling competitions, and in 2006 he won the Colorado state duck calling contest. That win gave him the opportunity to compete in the World Duck calling contest in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

One of Mike’s greatest enjoyments is getting new hunters and youngsters involved in the sport of waterfowl hunting whenever possible. Drawing upon his experiences he brings a wealth of knowledge to the Mossy Oak Pro Staff team.

In the waterfowl off-season Mike is a fly fishing guide on the Arkansas River and also guides hunts for Elk, Mule Deer, Bear and Mountain Lion in Colorado. In addition to these activities, Mike currently works as a Training Manager for a regional treatment center for at-risk youth. He is attending Colorado State University focusing on his sociology degree to further help at-risk youth.
