Mario Friendy resides in Sherwood, Oregon where he is the Mossy Oak Waterfowl Regional Pro Staff Manager for the Pacific Flyway. Mario first sat in a duck blind at the age of eight and has been hooked ever since. He began hunting waterfowl, pheasants and ruffed grouse at the age of twelve in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

After graduating with a degree in communications Mario worked in the radio broadcast industry for sixteen years. He moved several times in his career and finally landed in a waterfowl hunters paradise in Oregon.

For the past seven years Mario has owned Columbia River Decoys Inc. where he handles the manufacturing and painting of every decoy from start to finish. Mario’s decoy company is viewed as one of the best custom decoy producers in the waterfowl industry.

Mario also works for Buck Gardner calls as a National Pro Staff Manager and West Coast Sales Manager. Mario assists Buck Gardner Calls in developing new products and helps plan and execute the making of the Fowl Play DVD series.

Mario guides waterfowl hunters for Pacific Wings Waterfowl Adventures in West Richland, Washington. Mario also manages and guides the Amstad Duck and Goose clubs in Sherwood, Oregon. Mario is a member of Delta Waterfowl and has been a Ducks Unlimited member since his dad started a chapter in Pennsylvania. He remains active in Ducks Unlimited having served as both an Area and District Chairman.

Mario credits his wife and two great kids for letting him live his dream jobs in the outdoor industry.
