With big dangerous game in mind, Sightron ™ has added a compact 1.25x5, 20mm scope to their SII Big Sky ™ Line. “If you are going to hunt big dangerous game like cape buffalo with a large caliber, heavy recoiling rifle,” says Scott Helmer, President of Sightron, “you will want to check out this scope.”

The SII Big Sky Sightron scope was designed and built with features big game hunters are looking for in a dangerous game scope. The scope is built with a one-piece, mono-tube design to give it maximum strength.

Lenses are precision ground and coated with Sightron’s Zact-7™ multi-layer coating.

Eye relief in a scope is of utmost importance when used on the big, heavy recoiling rifles used for dangerous game. The new scope from Sightron has extended eye relief of 3.8 to 4.0 inches.

Mounting surface is also a consideration when scopes of these designs have to be mounted on magnum rifle actions. The SII Big Sky 1.25x5 scope has a 6.18 inch maximum mounting length between rings, one of the longest in the industry.

Field of view is a big concern when buying a dangerous game scope. The new Sightron scope has a field of view of 79 feet at 100 yards at the 1.25 magnification setting, giving the shooter lots of area to see.

The enhanced ExacTrack™ windage and elevation adjustment system is incorporated in all SII Big Sky scopes. Positive settings that hold zero under the recoil of the biggest caliber rifle is achieved with this unique system.
