COLD WEATHER KING IS BACK PORTLAND, Ore. – A leader in cold weather protection, LaCrosse Footwear has reinvented its winter boot offering for Fall 2010 to deliver a complete assortment of quality, performance-driven styles. Inspired by the recreation of the season, each of these styles provide the opportunity to get out and capture the winter – ice fishing, riding a snow machine, shoveling the walk or just building a snow fort out back. The Heritage Series Always a mainstay on the ice, the LaCrosse Ice King and Iceman are ready to take on whatever winter dishes out. Each is updated for Fall with improved styling and design elements, while maintaining their legendary performance. The Ice King lives up to its name with an updated all-leather upper and insulated rubber tub, while the anniversary-edition Iceman is now offered in a rich full grain leather in both black and brown styles. The Ice King is built for extreme cold weather. Featuring a full-grain oiled leather upper and ozone resistant rubber tub, it is 100% waterproof and is built with 400G Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation, a 6mm footbed and 8mm wool felt midsole for warmth. It also features a removable poly-foam liner for maximum comfort. The heavy-duty Trac-Lite™ outsole is outstanding on ice, snow and slush. The 25th Anniversary Edition of the Iceman is now available in both black and brown, fully updated with a full-grain water resistant leather upper and ozone resistant rubber tub. It is 100% waterproof and features a 9mm removable wool-felt liner. Outstanding traction comes from the Trac-Lite™ outsole that performs on ice, snow and slush. Both the new Iceman and Ice King will be available Fall 2010 for delivery to retail in July, in whole sizes 7-15. The Pine Top Series New for Fall, the Pine Top offers a traditional profile for both men and women. The all-leather version for men is 100% waterproof and features 400G Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation for warmth. The leather-fabric version comes in both men’s and women’s styles and is 100% waterproof with foam insulation. Each are built on the aggressive Snow Grip™ outsole for outstanding traction and offer a removable foam liner for added comfort. The Pine Top series will be available Fall 2010 for delivery to retail in July. Men’s styles are available in whole sizes 7-14, and women’s styles come in 5-11 also in whole sizes. The Cabin Series Also completely updated and redesigned for Fall is the Cabin Series, featuring a range of styles for men and women that offer comfort and protection against the elements from first ice to last. The Mountaineer is a classic cold weather style inspired by the rugged terrain of the Rocky Mountains. Specifically designed to fit a stirrup, this 12” style features a distressed, full-grain leather upper and premium rubber bottom for 100% waterproof protection. The 200 G Thinsulate™ Insulation and removable wool-felt liner provide extra warmth and comfort in cold conditions. Its lace-up design delivers an adjustable fit and the slip-resistant, self cleaning LaCrosse Bob outsole is ideal for slippery surfaces. Available Fall 2010 for delivery to retail in July, the Mountaineer is available in men’s whole sizes, 7-15. The Uplander, Trekker and Mesquite make up the heart of the series offering classic winter boot styling with rich, updated styling. Each is built with a distressed, full-grain leather upper and premium rubber bottom for 100% waterproof protection. The slip-resistant, rope cleated outsole delivers increased surface area for improved traction in snow and ice. A removable Air Cushion™ footbed provides improved comfort and support. Ideal for moderately cold and wet conditions, the 10” Uplander has a lace-up design for an adjustable fit, while the 7” Mesquite is a pull on for easy on and off. The 10” Trekker offers protection in colder conditions with 200 G Thinsulate™ Insulation and a pull-on, side zip for easy on and off. All feature a soft fleece lining for increased comfort and will be available Fall 2010 for delivery to retail in July, men’s whole sizes, 6-14. The series is complete with a traditional 6-eye Leather Pac for men and a complimentary 5-eye Leather Pac for women. Both feature a distressed, full-grain leather upper and premium rubber bottom for 100% waterproof protection. The 200 G Thinsulate™ Insulation provides extra warmth and comfort in cold conditions. A slip-resistant, rope cleated outsole delivers increased surface area for improved traction in snow and ice, while the new soft fleece lining provides increased comfort.
