INTRODUCING KNOX OUTDOOR PRODUCTS

Andrew K. Davis, president of Knox Outdoor Products (KOP) is a visionary with an entrepreneurial spirit. Another quality he possesses is the desire to give back to outdoor enthusiasts throughout the world, to inventors of outdoor products and to the people of his home county in Tennessee. These traits are evident in his company’s mission statement:

Knox Outdoor Products offers a turnkey avenue for creators of innovative outdoor merchandise, moving ideas from the drawing board to the marketplace in a timely manner. Developed and built by users in the field in Henry County, Tennessee, these products create a safer, more enjoyable outdoor experience.

Davis found the HOOT ® ETV™ while on a business trip in Canada. Struck by its capabilities and implications for hunting, search and rescue and industrial use, he recognized this as the opportunity to launch Knox Outdoor Products.

The KOP team, although in its infancy, has more than 55 years of combined experience in the automotive industry with specific training in performance, design and production. Their manufacturing concepts are based on the Toyota production system; their goal is to set a new standard for quality in the outdoor industry.
