Who doesn’t like a little friendly competition? Especially when you can use your favorite rimfire rifle or pistol to determine who is the best shooter among your friends and family.
The new Birchwood Casey® Rimfire Dueling Tree target is the perfect item to set the record straight on who is the best shooter in your group. Made of a one-piece 38-inch steel post with a tapered end, the target is easy to set up. The only tools required are a hammer or maul. The Dueling Tree can be driven in the ground anywhere there is a safe background for shooting behind the target. Four 3.5-inch metal target paddles slip in to slots on the back of the post.
To set up the tree for competition, two paddles are moved to each side of the tree. Then with guns loaded with the same number of shells, two shooters begin shooting the paddles on their side of the tree. Shooters continue shooting until they run out of ammunition with the intent of knocking more paddles to the other side of the tree to win the shoot off.
Another idea for the new target is to put all the paddles on one side of the tree and then time shooters to see how long it takes them to knock all four paddles to the opposite side of the tree. Shooters can also make up their own shooting games with the Dueling Tree for hours of shooting fun.
Suggested retail price is $95.30.
